It has been a complete joy to tell the story of this beautiful family. From engagement photos to wedding photos to newborn and family photos, I have been a witness to their joy-filled and growing family. I've been able to document it all and I don't take that lightly. I get to take photos that they will print and frame and look at for years to come and their children and their children's children will look at and laugh and cry over the beauty that is family.

These dear friends of mine are getting so close to meeting their sweet Hazel girl any day now, but very possibly today! I LOVED how this session turned out. So dreamy and beautiful. I mean, Christopher was serenading his ladies with some Lumineers tunes, does it get any better? 

Stephen & Stacie, Forest Park Engagement Session

Happy Wednesday, friends. I'm feeling pretty energized and refreshed this morning. I just took a couple days to evaluate my routines and brainstorm how to make my days more intentional and full of good things. It feels like a new year to me, nothing like a clean slate and fresh start in the middle of April :)

-I'm adding in The 5 Minute Journal  into my morning and evening routine as a way to add more gratitude and intention into my everyday.

-I'm going to cut down on tv time. This is a big one, it's such a problem in the winter when it's cold and dark all the time. With the days getting longer, I'm hoping to spend more time outside  with friends and neighbors and less time in front of the television.

-I'm going to read more (or listen to audiobooks because it's so much easier with a little one in the house)

-Limit my phone and social media time, especially around people and at night. It's such an attention suck and and I want my attention to be devoted to my loved ones right in front of me. 

Those are just a few of my goals. Anyone else have any life-bettering goals or routines they want to share?? I'm all ears!

Ahem, back to this blog post. I'm so excited about these images. I had such a fun time third wheeling with these two in the forest a couple weeks ago. They are so at ease with each other and a joy to be around. Hiking around in the woods is one of my favorite things and it was a treat to be back on one of my favorite trails documenting these two and their sweet relationship.

Newborn Family Photos- Harper Family

Heyo! It's only been a couple YEARS since I've posted on my blog, yikes! It was one of my resolutions to change that. Seeing as how it's now March, I thought I would do something about it. I'm hoping for the snowball effect, like from Dave Ramsey's debt snowball. If I just get started, I'll build some momentum and hopefully post more and more. Because, my style has evolved and changed quite a bit in the past two years and I want to keep this space current and fresh with what I'm actually shooting these days.
